André Schreuders is an independent filmmaker en philosopher. He also works as an editor, cinematographer and creative producer for artistic film projects.
After
studies in Philosophy and Management Science and a short career in urban
planning André Schreuders works since 2001 as a film director,
scriptwriter, cameraman and editor of poetic and philosophical
documentary and fiction films. Besides this he studies on the
philosophical texts of Daniil Kharms.
Amongst his works are the prize winning essay film Manifesto for a Free Fall and the short fiction Licht that was selected at the Cannes Festival Quinzaine des Réalisateurs.
Recently he worked as a creative producer for the awarded hybrid feature film Feast by Tim Leyendekker and the artistic documentary Darkness there and nothing more by Tea Tupajic.
As a cinematographer he worked on the award winning BERG by Joke Olthaar and the video installation Infinite Mourning by Anaïs Tondeur.
